Encounter Where was I?

Kyle's Testimony

It was bedtime, so we went up to get ready for bed. The moment my head hit the pillow, I was out. Around 4:30 - 5 AM, a voice woke me up and said, “Go to the office”. I got up and went to the office and turned the light on. I heard the spirit say, “Turn the light off.”

I replied, “No. I want to keep the light on so my wife Kathy will know where I am if she wakes up”. I heard the spirit again say, “Turn the light off.”

I again repeated, “No, I want to keep the light on so my wife Kathy will know where I am if she wakes up. "This conversation occurred three times.

After the third request, I complied. As the light went off, I suddenly experienced a mighty rushing wind as described in Acts 2. I began praying in the spirit and noticed my tongues were different. I felt the rush of wind intensely blowing through my being. Then a presence came that I was unfamiliar with.

In my mind, I thought, “This must be the devil”, but my spirit man was so alert I just knew this couldn’t be the enemy, It was an angelic being. At that moment I knew that he was waiting for instructions from me. As the intense wind blew, I began giving scripture and teaching him to go. After about a minute the wind would calm down. Then pick up again rushing through my being a second time, I knew to give him instructions, then again a third time. As the wind calmed down the third time, my tongue started to settle and I realized that I had an encounter with three angelic beings. I walked back to the bedroom and climbed back into bed.

The next day as we were waking up to get ready for church, Kathy said,

“I heard you praying in the spirit lying next to me last night, so I joined in”.

I replied, “You mean you heard me praying from the office?”

“No,” Kathy replied, “You were laying right here next to me.”

I said, “Kathrine, I got up and went to pray in the office!

We went back and forth for a few minutes about where I was. We still don’t know if I translated into the office and then went back to bed or if was I laying in bed the entire time.

Wow, “what a sign and a wonder”!

We went to church service that Sunday morning and a young lady came up to me after praise and worship and said, “What’s going on with you”? Kathy and I asked what do you mean? She replied, "I was looking in this direction where the two of you sit and Kyle’s face was glowing”. She then stated, in her words, That chocolate man’s face is glowing over there. All we could do was laugh and give God Glory. I then begin to explain to her what happened to me that night. Kathy and I had to meet her parents the same day after service around 1:30 PM to drop something off them. When we arrived both her parents began saying the same thing “Kyle what’s going on with you, Your face is glowing'' my response was, All I know is I have had an encounter." I've been with God”.

Act 2:2-3

“And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind and it filled the entire house where they were sitting.

And divided tongues as fire appeared to them and rested on each of them.

2 Corinthians 3:18

When you feel a nudge in the wee hours of the morning and you know it’s the Father waking you up to meet with him don’t hesitate. You never know what you may encounter!”
