It's important that we as parents are people of our word.

This in turn teaches our children how to trust God because they've learned to trust when we say something and keep our word.

Let your children know your home is known as a safe house.

This allows them to be open and free to talk with you about anything.

Allow your children to express their joys and/or frustrations without fear of upsetting you.

This is how they learn to feel safe to go to God with things that are good and bad in their life.

Learning good healthy communication at home can be an important key in their prayer relationship with the Father.

Help them to learn to meditate on the word by teaching them basic scriptures to stand on example: Josh 1:8

Here are some things we'd say every morning with our children before school.

The blood of Jesus covers me everywhere I go.
1 Peter 1:18-19

Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world 1 John 4:4

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Phil 4:13

But let patients have their perfect work in me that I may be perfect and complete lacking nothing. James 1:4

I will be quick to listen slow to speak and slow to anger for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God
James 1:19

God has not given me a spirit of fear but power love and a sound mind.
2 Tim 1:7

No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Ish. 54:17

I am gifted with all wisdom possess the knowledge and am quick to understand.
Dan 1:4

I have knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom.

Dan 1:17

I am 10 times smarter than the children of my generation.

Dan 1:20

Help them realize they are anointed to do their school work and anything else in life on a level that this world is not familiar with all to the Glory of God!! 1 John 2:20

Always let them know you're proud of them.

Don't be so quick to buy them every little thing they ask for.

Help them understand when you tell them not right now does not mean they can never have those things they ask for.

We should encourage them to develop their faith to believe in God for the things they are asking us for.

Come on parents let's Raise those Giant Killers for the Kingdom of God!!
